This is a simple exercise to present \ practice family vocabulary and the genitive.
You can use it in a varity of ways. I prefer to try and eleicit the vocabulary first by focusing on the diagram and asking questions such as 'What is the relationship between Clive and Lisa?' etc. Even playing hangman to help them along is quite fun. Next I get them to fill in as much of the worksheet as they can, before asking them to draw their own. They then test each other using their own family trees.

excellent worksheet!
good job! Thank you.
Here's a similar one, with images—but no sentences to complete, just vocabulary for descriptions of family relations.
All of the images are taken from Barry's clipart server and may legally be used for free (see link to the source at the bottom of the page).
