I would like to make a correction. Hardly is not the adverb for hard. Hardly means barely. Thus the common work-related question: Working hard or hardly working?

Thanks for your correction but if you check the worksheet again, it also explains that "hard" has the same form as an adjective and adverb.

An adjective is a word that describes a noun.
The Apple was red.
The girl is beautiful.

Adverb: Adverbs are used to describe verbs. She ran slowly.
She chewed slowly.
