Hi,
I am begining with a local non-profit volunteering as an ESL teacher in Santa Fe, NM. Classes start the last week of September 2009. My mother has been a grade school teacher, school counselor, and now an ESL teacher for over 30 years. That said, I am starting out and have no concrete lesson plans so far. I am fluent in Spanish, after living 5 years working in Puerto Rico. So, I understand the frustration and confidence issues that surround learning a new language. Excited to join the site, and I hope to both add and use lesson plans on ESL HQ. Feel free to email me with tips and ideas.
