Teaching & Education

Education Background

University of Strathclyde, Glasgow - Education. Definitely go back to Glasgow not decided if I'll study again though....haven't settled on a future career of choice yet!

Countries Visited

To visit - Canada (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto & Montreal), France, US (California, Florida, Las Vegas & Boston), Romania, Tunisia, Portugal.

Countries Taught In

Japan! Practice in the UK (not much though)

Favorites

Music

Really into electonic dance at the moment - Mylo, LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip etc. & also a lot of British bands - Razorlight, Editors, The Automatic, Kasabian, The Kooks etc. Not averse to some cheese & classic tunes e.g. Beach Boys, Madonna & Billy Joel(!)

Movies

Gladiator, Finding Nemo, Shaun of the Dead, Lock, Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels. (Is that all genres covered??!!)

Books

Just finishing George Friel's - 'A Glasgow Trilogy' which I've thoroughly enjoyed although the 2nd & 3rd books get into strange territory. Recommend it if you feel you can cope with the Glaswegian dialect on paper!
Also George Orwell's - 'Down & Out in Paris & London' is a quality read.
For guilty pleasure have been known to indulge in chick-lit esp. Marian Keyes - Last Chance Saloon is my fave.

Websites

Hotmail, Bebo, Google, this one now!

Life Philosophy

"The most wasted day of all is one on which we have not laughed" - Sebastien Chamfort (18th Century French Revolutionist....!)
