The best feeling/s....

Posted by teachingenglishmadeeasy · May 28, 2009 · 3 replies

you have had as an ESL or EFL teacher has been what?

A few weeks ago, I had a student of mine write an essay. In her essay, she used the different points I taught her. I know it sounds cheesy, but when I see students making a conscious effort in their work, it makes me work all the more to make sure that the student has the education he or she needs.

What about you?

I always get a tremendous feeling of satisfaction when students pass the exams that we've prepared for. I get nervous beforehand and often worry more than they appear to. On the flip side, if, and thankfully it's very rare, someone doesn't pass I'm gutted.

HAHAHAHA! I know the feeling! For me, I worry about two things:

One - the students will be disappointed that they didn't pass the test

Two - My boss will be disappointed.....O_O

Ha, I had a really good morning conversation class today. We are working on interviews and words that are appropriate for interviews. After class, she said she really enjoyed the class and she learned a lot. Just another reason why I love teaching!
