Here's a pretty interesting article about some common myths in SLA. It may not be that big of a revalation for some, but it's worth reading through I think.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for the link Mark!

I have started a masters in TEFL and will study SLA so this will be helpful for me. However I can't comment much on it because I haven't studied about it yet!

Where did you decide to do your TEFL masters?

I've decided with the University of Birmingham (England) via distance learning because I can continue working and studying at the same time. They have a centre here in Korea about two hours from my house so it will be very useful for me as I can hand in my papers and get my materials from there. SLA is the title of the third module.

I got the first two modules and some research papers last week and to be honest I'm a little daunted by it all but the course doesn't offically start until October so I have a little time to ease into it slowly.
