What's your gas price?

Posted by EngliPatrick · June 5, 2008 · 6 replies

I got the gas idea from another thread. What is the gas price in your part of the world? I know we live in different parts of the world so I suggest using the USD as a neutral platform for conversion

BTW, 1 gallon = 4.5 liters/litres

I'll start,

Niigata prefecture, Japan: 1.57 yen per liter = $7.41 USD. YIKES!!

Anyone else?

Rhode Island 4.09 USD per gallon.

France : near Paris
Euros 1.40 to 1.50 per liter ( diesel )
Gas : Euros 1.43 to 1.57 per liter
Truck drivers , ambulance drivers and fishermen are demonstrating in various big cities in France at the moment. It's too expensive!!

same as michèle here in sardinia - touching 1.50 euros a litre, which is 2.32 dollars a litre. in gallons, that's around 9 dollars.

the protests are taking place here too. it's getting to the stage where our fishermen stay at home because they spend more in fuel on a trip than they catch and sell in the market. crazy times.

by the way, wasn't diesel supposed to be much cheaper than petrol? when did those prices level out? - my god!

just heard from my buddy in korea and they are up to about 1,900Won/liter which is about $1.85/liter or $7.4/gallon.

prices here in canada are about $1.40/liter or $5.6/gallon.

I'm in central Canada and the price is $135/litre. It rose by 5 cents over the course of the last couple of days. I've heard of some promising electric cars coming onto the market
