What's the worse late night snack you ever had?

Posted by vanchisel · October 9, 2006 · 11 replies

I felt a rumble in my stomach while I was sleeping. Such a heavy rumble it stabbed me and woke me up. I peeped at the time and realized I was only sleeping about 1 hour. Wouldn't hurt to have a late night snack, would it?

Let's say that late night snack caused me two days of hell and discomfort. Turned out to be bad milk, or should I say, almost "cottage cheese" milk. 😲

three hard boiled eggs... thats a bit too much...

There are these sour prune things in China. I had my first one as a late night snack thinking it was something else. Yuck!

Yup it was an omelette with potatoes - bit like Eric who had 3 boiled eggs.

In fact I woke up in the night and had to go to emergency because I thought I was likely to die.

I won't go into the symptoms here.

In fact I had indigestion.

So eat light at night!

I'd have to be very hungry indeed before I had another 'post-disco snack' from a mobile burger van. We don't call it street meat for nothing!!
Interesting afternoon teaching later that day, as I'm sure you can imagine.

I never eat a late night snack except a few cookies or a bar of chocolate. The reason is that if I eat a lot at night, I am still so full the next morning as my stomach feels very uncomfortable and I can't eat until about lunch time!

Pizza....it is so heavy on the stomach

Fried Crickets in Thailand yummm crunchy!

Lamb kebab in Turkey!😲

Ya but it tastes so good! Pizza is the one food that I could eat everyday for the rest of my life if there was nothing else available. It's an interesting question to ask students and mine (Koreans) mostly say rice. Just plain rice!!!!! Kill me now! 😃

I had some cruchy cricket heads with my in-laws in Korea last winter. It was yummy though! Tasted just like grass.

And yeah, Koreans sure do love their rice. But I have grown to like rice and have it everyday at home. You know when you eat too much rice at home when you start to taste the different varieties of rice from different supermarkets.

😗

Haha you know when you are in Korea too long when....😃
