... did you know that there are a number of sites on the web which track Santa Claus on his journey round the world every Christmas Eve so that you can see exactly where he's got to and how far from you he is? You can find a list of them here. Some of them have versions in languages other than English too.
When my son was little we always used the NASA or NORAD sites (OK, OK we still do...) and it's great fun. It's also a great way of convincing them to go to bed ... Look, he's almost here and you know that if you're not in bed and asleep by the time he arrives he won't come ...
