ESL Jobs for non-native teachers

Posted by Bless Dominguez · June 6, 2011 · 2 replies

Hello everyone!

I just recently joined this site. I think one is really helpful.

I just wonder if there is any country, particularly in Asia, who accepts non-native teachers to teach ESL to students.

I'm looking for a teaching job around Asia, unfortunately, I'm not a native speaker.

Thanks in advance!

Beatrix did find a job in China (I believe) in the end.

yes, China is the country where you can get a job, but your chances are much better if you are white. unfortunately they are pretty racist over there, so black people would face more difficulties.
btw I've heard that, as a certified teacher, you can also get a job in Thailand.
