Posted by kellyhellcat · January 26, 2009 · 2 replies

hey there.

my jte has finished teaching all of the grammar for this year and has now asked me to do review games and activities for the next 2 months.

i'm rapidly running out of ideas for these kids, junior high school.

any ideas would be greatly, greatly appreciated!!

Thanks, Kelly

-Cut up sentences and have them match them up.
-Grammar Jeopardy
-Have them write their own cartoon using a certain grammatical concept at least once. (see MAKE BELIEFS COMIX! Online Educational Comic Generator for Kids of All Ages for great blank templates for teachers).
-Have them write a story using certain grammatical points a certain number of times.
-Find clips on youtube that use the grammar.
-Have them write a short skit using the grammatical concepts and then maybe tape it and act it or just act it out for the class.
