I'm teaching my students about jobs (attached file). Do you have any ideas or games to teach this lesson more effectively and interesting? I need your help. Many thanks!

You could assign each child a profession in secret, then sit the kids in a circle and have them try to guess each others' jobs. Sample questions could be like "Where do you work?" "What do you do?" etc. If your kids are much younger (which I doubt given the text), you could ask the questions and the student can just answer those until another student guesses correctly.
Other options is to have the child think critically about each job- would they like to be a composer? An artist? A doctor? If so, why? Why not? You could also ask them if they have a favorite (insert professional) or if they know someone in that profession.
Hope that helps. 🙂
Thanks so much!
