Is "soul" the right word? enough energy vs the energy

I would like to make up a scenario to practice my English.

Suppose that you finished two three-year programs last week. Your friend suggests that you take a graduate program next month. You are telling him that you are way less than 100% now. This is what you are saying to him.

(1) You say, "I have only 30% of my soul left. I don't have enough energy to take another program next month. OR I don't have the energy to take another program next month."

Does the word, soul, work? Which one is correct - enough energy or the energy? Thanks a lot.

1. soul - no. a) it's too poetic and b) it refers to spirituality - which has nothing to do with taking a graduate programme. So it doesn't make logical sense. I don't know exactly what you mean here.

2. Either "enough energy" or "the energy" are fine. The meaning is the same.
