Teach Away is currently accepting applications for teaching jobs in the Middle East to teach within the Abu Dhabi public school system. Teaching in the local primary and secondary schools allows teachers to gain international teaching experience while immersing themselves in a fascinating culture. Teachers can expect to earn a lucrative salary, but should be prepared for the challenges that will accompany an educational reform of this breadth. Only licensed public school teachers with a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience at the relevant level will be considered for these positions.

CONTRACT DETAILS - Teaching at Public Schools in Abu Dhabi | Teach Away Inc.

Start Dates: August/September 2011
Contract Duration: 2 years
Location: Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Gharbia (See descriptions below)
Student Level: Kindergarten to Grade 3; Grade 10-12 English
Working Hours: 07:30-14:00, Sunday to Thursday
Monthly Salary: AED 12,300 - 20,400 Tax Free (approx $3350-$5500 USD)
Visa: Sponsored by the school
Housing: Single housing provided; furnished apartment or furniture allowance
Flight: Return airfare; Airfare provided for candidate, spouse and up to 3 dependents
Vacation: Summer vacation, national holidays
Health Insurance Medical provided
Additional Benefits: 1 month salary per year completion bonus; 2-5 foreign teachers per school; tax free salary

REQUIREMENTS
• University Undergraduate Degree (in any discipline)
• Qualified Teacher Status/Certified Teacher (certified to teach in your state/province)
• Minimum 1-2 years teaching experience at relevant level (English preferred)
• Experience with educational reform or international teaching preferred
• Native English Speaker
