Smile verbs + ing

well I want to share with you an idea that I have used in my classes when I have to teach this structure.

have students to make a circle

tell students to tell you any verb in simple present
copy the verbs on the board
then, write the folowing sentence on the board:

IF YOU LIKE EATING APPLE, CHANGE YOUR PLACE.

if you have 20 students in you classron must be 19 chairs
the student without chair is going to begin, when the student says: IF YOU LIKE PLAYING VIDEO GAMES, CHANGE YOUR PLACE
all the students have to find another place to sit.
the students who loose the chair will say another sentence.

if you like to use another verb follow by gerund use:
ENJOY , STOP, DISLIKE.

with this activity students get fun and learn
after students have practicing the use of this grammical structure, tell them to create as many sentences they can

note: you can use this activity using verbs + to
