What is the correct way to say this:

1. Create unlimited number of meals.
   
2. Create an unlimited number of meals.

I'm guessing the second one is correct/better but I just want to be sure...

I'd say the first is ungrammatical. It would have to be Create unlimited numbers of meals. But whatever ... it's reminded me I have to cook Sunday dinner. You're virtually invited - roast chicken, roast potatoes, steamed peas and broccoli, roast carrots and lashings of gravy, topped off with garlic bread and washed down with white wine. Any takers?
