■CONTRACT:
six months to one year, renewable
Start - January 2015
■CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Students: G11-12 for High School; Each class 25-40 students
Work hours: Mon-Fri 8 am - 5 pm, 25 classes weekly, 50 min per class
Curriculum: English Literature
EFL ( English as a Foreign Language), collaborating-teaching involved
■MONTHLY SALARY
Bachelor TWD 60890 ( around USD 2083 ), Master TWD 67925 ( around USD 2180 ) - Monthly costs of living ( food, rent, transportation, etc. ) in Taiwan is around USD 700-900
-Years of service conditionally in accordance with the contract
■MONTHLY HOUSING ALLOWANCE/TEACHER'S DORM AVAILABLE,
-If live off the campus, subsidize for TWD 5000 ( around USD 170 ), and another 5000 for family member, conditionally in accordance with the contract
General rent in Taiwan is around TWD 6000-12000 ( around USD 200-400 )
■AIRFARE REIMBURSEMENT
Available, up to TWD 50000 for a round-trip (around USD 1650 ) Conditionally in accordance with the contract
■PERFORMANCE BONUS:
Available, conditionally by proportion of actual working months
■PAID VACATION:
Winter vacation, conditionally in accordance with the school calendar & contract
■LABOR AND HEALTH INSURANCE: Available
TEACHER REQUIREMENTS:
- English native-speaker with a bachelor’s degree
- Teaching license certified for K-12 public school
(accept valid substitute teaching permit or provisional status)
