We are inviting ESL Teachers to try this exceptional opportunity to acquire international
teaching experience in Taiwan through Dewey International Education Consultants, Ltd.

Basic Qualifications:
-this is essential to qualify for legal working status
*Native English Speaker (UK, IRE, USA, CAN, AUS, NZ, SA)
*Valid passport from English speaking countries (at least 12 months)
*Can commit to a one-year contract
*MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
a) Bachelor’s degree or Higher plus teacher license – for certified teachers
b) Bachelor’s degree/ College diploma/Associate Degree with a teaching certificate (TESOL/TESL/TEFL/CELTA) – for general teachers


For General Teachers in Language/Cram School (Buxiban)


The base salary ranges from: NT$48000 (=US$1464) to NT$60000 (=US$1830)
Teaching Hour: 22-25hours/week
Working week: Monday – Saturday

Benefits include:
*Housing Subsidy: ranges from NT$1000-NT$3000/month
Materials: work permit: provided by the school

*Perfect attendance bonus*Overtime pay*Contract - renew bonus *Insurance: partly provided by the school *Accommodation (**All depends from the school)

Airfare reimbursement: negotiable. (Most schools won’t reimburse it)
Tax required but refundable


For Certified/Licensed Teachers in Regular School (Public/Private)


Working week: Monday – Friday
Teaching Hour: 22-25/week
Student’s Age: G1-G6; G7-G12

Base Salary:
AS TO PUBLIC SCHOOLS:
• Base pay for: BA - NT$60890, MA -NT$67925, PhD - NT$70895 TAX FREE

Benefits include:
Housing Subsidy: NT$5000/month
NT$10000/month (with family dependents that come along)

Airfare reimbursement: depends on Taiwan M.O.E. program contract)


AS TO PRIVATE SCHOOLS:
• Base pay is NT$63000~65000/month

Benefits include:
Housing Subsidy: NT$5000/month
