Teaching English Abroad

Do you have the urge to travel, earn money, and have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from an accredited university? If you have a wandering spirit and love to travel, then coming to South Korea will be a great choice!

You don’t even need to speak Korean to teach here and it’s a great opportunity to pick up the language as well. Teaching really is a rewarding experience and South Korea provides the perfect opportunity for people that have little to no teaching experience. As far as benefits go, it’s difficult to beat in comparison with other Asian countries.

1) Work Week: Monday to Friday
2) Hours: 30 hours per week. Employees often work from 2 PM or 3 PM until 9 PM or 10 PM.
3) Salary: (monthly) ranges from 2.0-2.4 million Korean Won
Korean income tax: 3.3 or 5% depending on salary
***You can see just how much that is by googling, for example, "2.2 million Korean won in dollars"...today's (April 1st ) conversion was: $1,973***
4) Vacation: all Korean national holidays, plus an additional 10 days paid vacation
5) Additional Benefits:
-Roundtrip Airfare is paid for
-Furnished housing during your stay is paid for
-The cost of insurance is split 50/50 between the employer and the employee.
- An additional month's salary as a completion bonus (Korean Law)
