SMOE & GEPIK Public School Positions – Seoul & the Seoul Metro Area
 

Gone2Korea is now accepting applications for the upcoming public school semester. Teachers who are accepted into the program will be required to depart for Seoul and the surrounding Capital Region in late February of 2009.

Please Note: Public school positions tend to fill up on a first come, first served basis, therefore getting started early is advised.


POSITIONS AVAILABLE

> SMOE – Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education

> GEPIK – Gyeonggi English Program in Korea (Seoul Metropolitan Area, includes; Ansan, Anyang, Bucheon, Bundang, Gwangmyeong, Suji, and many other less known satellite cities around Seoul)


BENEFITS INCLUDE

> Round trip airfare
> Furnished apartment for the duration of the contract period, or housing allowance
> Summer and winter vacations (up to 21 days) plus all National holidays
> Severance/Bonus salary provided upon completion of contract period
> National pension plan
> 50/50 health insurance
> Relocation fee of 300,000won provided

CONDITIONS

> Salaries range from 1.8 – 2.6 million won (experience, education & certifications apply)
> Working Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm or 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
> Age Groups: Elementary & Junior High School


REQUIREMENTS

> BA or greater
> Clean criminal abstract (no convictions or charges on your background check)
> Citizenship from America, Canada, UK, Australia or New Zealand
> Must be a native English speaker – English being your first language
