Thanks for taking the time to review our posting. We’re currently looking to fill 2 teaching positions for one of our long time clients in downtown Seoul this coming May and June. We’ve placed numerous teachers at this school throughout the past few years and have yet to receive any complaints. Many of the teachers have also extended their contracts beyond the 12 month term.

The school employs 12 western teachers and 12 Korean teachers; therefore, you will have the chance to meet lots of people right away. The working hours, apartments and conditions are rather desirable and the salary is quite fair for first time teachers as well.

School photos and contact with current western teachers working at the school will be provided for those who pass the interview.


Location:

Central Seoul...close to everything! (The school is within 20 minutes, or less, of Seoul Station, City Hall, Hongdae, Gangnam and Jamsil.

Requirements:


>> Bachelors Level Degree or greater (any major)
>> Valid American or Canadian Passport
>> Adventurous & Tolerant of different cultures
>> Ability to acquire the necessary documents needed to secure a work visa
>> Document Requirements for Teaching English in Korea


Job Details: Airfare will be provided in advance.


>> Location: Seongdong, Seoul (Wangsimni station)

>> Type of Students: Kindergarten and elementary school students

>> Payment: 2.2 million won plus pension plan (roughly 2.3 million won)
>> Operating hours: 9:30am to 5:30pm (includes prep time and breaks)
>> Overtime payment: TBD
>> Class size: 10 students
>> Arrival date: One teacher for May 19th and one teacher for June 18th, 2009
>> Severance (Bonus): equal to 1 month's salary
>> Vacation: 2 weeks + all National holidays and weekends
>> Type of Housing: Single (Fully-furnished)
>> Health Insurance: 50%
>> Air fare: Provided in advance
>> Current No of Foreign teachers: 12
>> Current No of Korean teachers: 12
