ESL teachers are high in demand in Korea due to government initiatives to promote Korea's English language education. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or for those that are seeking a change of pace - you'll be able to experience Korea's rich culture while getting paid to help younger students! Please keep in mind that this position requires you to relocate to South Korea.
Requirements
General Requirements:
- You must be a native English speaker.
- Must have a valid passport from: U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, U.K., Ireland or South Africa
- You must not have a criminal record.
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher. All majors are acceptable.
- No experience required
- Education majors, TEFL/TESL/Teaching certified individuals are proffered, but this is not a requirement.
Job Description
- You'll be teaching English to young children. (Kindergarten ~ Elementary)
- The main areas of focus are: reading, writing and conversational skills.
- You'll encourage the development of strong oral communication skills.
Benefits

- Monthly salary: pre-tax income of $1,800~2,300 (Total tax rate is 4%)
- Working hours: 22-30 classes (40 to 50 minutes per class) per week (Mon - Fri);
- Overtime pay is $18~ $27 per hour
- Severance pay: 1 month salary for completion of one year contract
- Vacation: approx. 10 days of paid vacation per year, plus national holidays (approx. 17 days)
- Medical insurance coverage and National Pension

50% covered by employer, National Pension 100% refunded after completion of
1 year contract)
- Renewable one year contract
- Salary + Free Housing + 4% Tax + Free Airplane Tickets + Severance Payment + Paid Holidays + Cheap Living Cost are equivalent to over $40,000+/year salary level in America.
