Canadian Connection is a Toronto based consulting agency that helps teachers locate ESL positions in South Korea. Owned and operated by a former ESL teacher with more than 8 years of Korean experience, we are dedicated to turning your decision to teach in ‘the land of the morning calm’ into a positive transition and experience that you will remember for years to come.

The majority of our positions are in public schools, working as an ESL teacher. We have placements in elementary, junior high, and high schools. We can also send teachers to various locations throughout the country from very small, rural towns to large metropolitan cities. Job Conditions
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 5:00
Classroom Hours: 20-22 teaching hours per week.
Vacation: 14 -25 working days + national holidays
Salary: 1,800,000 to 2,500,000 per month
Settlement Allowance: 300,000 Won
Severance Bonus: 1 month salary
School Type: Elementary, Junior High, and High School positions
Housing: non-shared housing supplied, schools pay rent, teachers cover util.
Airfare: free roundtrip supplied
Start dates: March, April, August, and September
Contract Length: 1 year with option to renew
Minimum requirement: Completed university degree
