We are looking for someone who is seeking to enhance their teaching experience by working within a simulated immersion environment, taking part in role-playing, dialog conversation and other traditional and non-traditional teaching methods. The English Village will be situated on 5,000 m2 with uniquely model classrooms customized for the immersion curricula such as a simulated bank(money exchange), post office, library, fancy store, restaurant and many amenities for students and teachers within the private English Village compound.

We are looking for 30 Native English Teachers for March 1st. and more after March. We want teachers who are very enthusiastic and confident, who are interested in Korean culture and who are passionate about their profession. Teaching experience is not necessary but helpful (those with teaching experience in Korea will be given priority), as is a responsible attitude toward overcoming cultural differences and a healthy work ethic. Honesty is one of the most important qualifications as this English Village in Korea proudly maintains an open and honest working relationship with all its employees.

* POSITION
• full time English teacher
• native English speaker (CANADIAN, AMERICAN, AUSTRALIAN, NZ, UK, IRISH or SOUTH AFRICAN)
• 4 year university degree in any field
• 3 year university degree in any field
• certificate in TESOL, TEFL or TESL (preferred)
• teaching experience preferred
• enthusiasm about teaching and working with children

* WORKING CONDITIONS
• Teaching day : Monday through Friday
• Working hour :
kindergarten : 9:30AM-5:20PM(only Kindy) or 9:30AM-4:15PM(Kindy+Primary)
Primary and Middle school Student: 2:30PM-10:05PM ( 25-30 hours work a week)
• Student : kindergarten through middle school students

* MONTHLY SALARY
2.0-2.5 million won (Around 2,000-2,500 USD (Monthly salary is depending on experience and qualification.)
Over time is paid 20,000 won / a hour

* BENEFITS
• E2 visa provided
• Free Accommodation is provided (furnished Apartment-TV set, bed, refrigerator, washing machine, and basic necessities, etc) schools pay rent, teachers cover util. Free Round-trip ticket to Seoul from point of origin
• Severance pay (about monthly salary) upon completion of a one-year contract Vacation : about 10 days (paid) and all Korean holiday
• Medical insurance : as per Korean law (half paid by teacher, half paid by school)
