Experienced E.S.L. teachers particularly Kindergarten and Secondary Science teachers required in May 2008 for at least a one-year fixed term contract at Sarasas Pittaya School in the Bilingual Programme.

Sarasas Pittaya School is situated at
376 Satupradit Road, off Rama 3, Yannawa, Bangkok 10120.
It is about 20 minutes from the centre of the city by taxi.
Working hours : Monday to Friday 7:20 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Teaching periods last only 50 minutes.
Approximately 20 periods in the week.
Lesson planning, marking and preparation during non-contact time.

Applicants must possess a passport from either the U.K., Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa or the U.S.A.

Applicants must possess their original degree and transcript documents from their University and if possible a Police clearance form and a qualification in the teaching of E.S.L.

Salaries range from 33,000 baht to 42,500 baht plus an accommodation allowance each month.

Bachelor Degree holders without experience start at 33,000 baht per month.(plus housing allowance.)
Master’s Degree holders without experience start at 35,000 baht per month.(plushousing allowance.)

For every year’s experience, up to a maximum of 5 years, the applicant will be paid an extra 1,500 baht per month.

Medical and accident insurance for the duration of the renewable contract.

10 sick days allowed before deductions.
Full attendance bonus paid at the end of the year.
Accommodation plentiful in the area, so an allowance is payable by the school each month to go towards the cost.

If coming from overseas, a school mini-van will meet you at the airport and convey you to accommodation which you can have for a week or two free of charge except for power and water used,until you can secure your own private accommodation of your choice.

The cost of the single economy flight will be re-imbursed to you in the last quarter of the contract, so long as you present the receipt upon arrival.

An optional 2% savings plan is in place whereby the school can save 2% of your salary every month and at the end of the following May, pay that to the teacher together with an equivalent amount from the school, thus doubling your savings.
