Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools (NIS) are an initiative of the government of Kazakhstan, educating the country's future academic leaders. These selective schools - which teach in a tri-lingual environment of Kazakh, Russian, and English - aim to develop students into critical thinkers and independent learners. With new campuses opening across the country, the schools are recruiting experienced teachers for the opportunity to become part of their educational initiative.

Successful applicants will have a teaching license and knowledge of Content and Language Integrative Learning. Candidates for these jobs must have at least 3 years of experience teaching in the relevant subject area at a secondary level.


JOB DETAILS

Job Location: Various locations throughout Kazakhstan
Start Date: September 2013
Monthly Salary: $4,000 USD
Contract Duration: 2 years
Housing: Single furnished housing is provided
Health Insurance: Provided
Relocation Allowance: $2,000 USD
Airfare: Full - Annual economy return ticket


TEACHING JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in specific educational sphere with relevant teaching
qualification
• 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant subject area – ESL experience also preferred
• Native English speaker (advanced level in both written and oral language)
