Re: Is 'passive voice' okay in British English?

Speaking as a college student. We were not allowed to use passive voice in our English 101/102 papers. Its frowned upon...at least in my school.

New ESL tutor/teacher...help

I am a new ESL tutor and I have two boys 5th and 7th grade from Thiland that I will be teaching. They said they had six years if English in Thiland. WHere do I begin??
