Re: Hamburger Stand for Kids

Hi Sonia! Thanks for the compliment.... You could also use normal fabric, or fimo (A type of clay), polymer clay, painted wood pieces, cardboard, etc.... I'd check for felt at a normal fabric store.....

Re: Can anyone help please?

I don't know how applicable this is in South Africa, but in the U.S., sometimes you can have D.U.I.s removed from your record after a certain length of time (also, when I came to Japan to get my...

Re: Technical Person Should I get a TESL?

It depends where you want to teach... unfortunately, it is very hard to get a visa in Japan if you don't have a B.A. (or 3 years relevant experience in the field). If you don't have the B.A., you...

Re: Where to begin with grammar..

If you can, get a hold of a copy of that test and take it yourself. You can use the actual test to design a lesson plan that will help your children the most. Of course, if they can't even spell...

Re: Saying 2012

Well, I could see "twenty twelve"... it's catchy... like military time. (20:12) I asked my Canadian roommate today and she said she would also say either "two thousand twelve" or "twenty twelve." So,...

Re: Saying 2012

I teach 1-3 year olds, and 4-6 year olds and just recently found a "treasure trove" of CDs and nursery rhyme/Mother Goose books in the attic of our school. I'm curious to know what songs people...

Re: Help with an 11 year old boy!!

Glad to hear it worked out for you! My kid really loved Diary of a Wimpy Kid too- now we're reading The 39 Clues together. It's a bit more challenging than Diary, but we can do a lot more vocabulary...
