Smile Your students can have stories published on the web

I just found this site that allows students to upload their stories onto the internet. It is also a good place to find stories written by kids, and read them to your class, as a class or to critique with your students.

This is the link
http://www.kidpub.org/kidpub/

This is their intro
Welcome to Kidpub, the largest collection of stories by children on the Internet (and maybe in the real world, too). We've been on the web since 1995, and our database holds just over 46,000 stories written by and for children.

Seems like a neat idea and I think it could really motivate some kids to write, although I understand access to computers could be a problem.

What do you think
