Working Schedules

Hi everyone,

I was wondering how the schedules are in other countries besides Korea? If you work in an Asian country, I would love to know your work schedule (e.g. teaching time per week, vacation, etc.).

Thanks in advance!

Re: Working Schedules

I run my own school and have a few smaller contracts to do other part-time jobs.

I teach a little over 20 hours at my own school and then do another 10 hours at the part-time places.

All in all I basically work 9 to 9 Mon. through Fri. and then Sat. 9-5. Most of the weekdays have gaps and I don't start work on Tues. until 2:00.

I'm trying to cut back on work, but I've just been asked to go teach part-time at a University and I can't say no to this. Ah!!!!

Man, I thought I was a work-a-holic. Don't forget to make time for yourself. I often find myself neglecting that which I am recommending. arghhh....

Yeah, I'm trying to these days.

I'm working on saying 'no' but I'm still not that good at it ...

What makes it even more inescapeable is that my hobby is making websites and teaching materials

So even when I'm taking a bit of time just for me, I'm technically working ...

Yeah, I hear you. I like making websites, but, my skills are limited. I tend to use templates a lot. I know the basics, but, would like to know more. The problem is that I am lazy when it comes to learning about webpages.

I do enjoy making stuff as well. There is something about your students learning from the materials you make that makes one feel good.
