What is your specialty?

You know, what do you like to teach the most? What do you feel you are good at?

Re: What is your specialty?

I like to work with teachers and give them new ideas, techniques, and activities to be better teachers.

Of course working with English-language students is great, but I can only reach so many people. When I work with teachers who then work with students, I'm in a small way helping an exponentially greater number of people.

My specialty is children's classes, but I feel I'm most helpful to all beginners regardless of age.

My lessons for higher levels aren't necessarily bad, but the beginner classes are better, imo.

I enjoy teaching the intermediate to advanced students. I don't really enjoy teaching true/false beginners. I like being able to get right into the language rather than worry about the really basic terms/commands.

Re: What is your specialty?

My specialty is...ok wait...I have a couple:

Telephone classes
Role plays
and phrasal verbs.

Those are the topics and types of classes that I like the most. I prefer to work one on one with a student as well. Group classes are not bad but I enjoy working with one person and focusing on their issues and interests.
