Re: vocab books? I've used "Can You Believe It? stories and idioms from real life" by Oxford. It's pretty good. It's loaded with useful idions in interesting true stories.
There are three books in the series, I believe. I've used books one and two. There are questions about the readings, pictoral representations for story retelling, questions about you section, write about something section and a cloze activity. There are CDs/tapes for the books and you can do dictation, but I didn't get the CDs. |
