I like that idea! I might try it out but just have the students make a word out of the available tiles. So, increase the number of tiles to 7-10 and it becomes more like scrabble. But again the students get to keep the tiles if they can make a word and then just keep adding tiles to the game.

If the students can't make any words just add one tile at a time until they can.
