Hey everyone. Just wanted to share a resource with those of you that teach online (and also with those that don't). I recommend giving Knowlounge (https://www.knowlounges.com) a try if you find Skype or Hangouts a bit limited. It's a new platform which gives you a live whiteboard that you can share with your student (as well as your webcam) which makes it easier to do things like go over sentences, cross things out, and add images/pdf notes. Tutors can also use the quiz features to make things a bit more fun too. Give it a go and let us know any feedback.

Thanks to those who've been trying out Knowlounge and giving feedback. If anyone here also records video lectures, try out our new app 'Know Recorder' for iPad. The app lets you create your own videos with similar features to Knowlounge like being able to add images, PDF files and even videos. You can upload your videos directly to YouTube, and browse through classes from other users too. You can download it from the App Store.

Hey just saw this and would to say a big thank you!! I've been teaching English both in real life and online for a while now.

This app so far is way more useful than skype and hangout. Hope it stays free though...

One question: Can you record the lesson anyway? I'm always too scared to test around during a lesson so am never sure...
