Re: A little help please Hi Meggy, Sorry I can't point you to a source, but I just wanted to say that what you mentioned would probably take about ten minutes to type out yourself. I'm wondering why you would spend so long searching for it? |
Re: A little help please Sometimes if I can't find the flash cards and if I have some time then I draw them on the boards and let the kids draw them in their notebooks with the name underneath. Just an idea if you have time. |
Re: A little help please Hi Meggy iteslj.org is always a good place to start with adult conversation classes. They have conversation questions that can be adapted in lots of ways according to your classes needs. http://iteslj.org/questions/personality.html Make friends with Google. He helps me out an awful lot. xxjen |
Re: A little help please The questions on iteslj.org are great. And you can always add some if you want to their lists. I have used the site a lot when I started teaching so so long ago!!! :D |
Re: A little help please 1 Attachment(s) I have attached something which I bought from a second hand bookshop for two pounds in the UK. It is a page from a book ("Streamline English Departures", Hartley & Viney, 1992) which contains a variety of opposites which include pictures. I would like you to get some inspiration from this page and not print it out for your classes. Hope it helps. |
Re: A little help please Thanks for the brill ideas, i dont intend to print them, i really just needed some ideas of what things i could use and how to use them. So i think i have a bit more of an idea now, and surely could come up with some stuff.still am finding these adult conversational classes a bit AAAAARRGGHH.it's ok for you TEFL teachers out there, bet everything is a breeze for you lot,(im joking ,really ha ha) So thanks for saving my skin again and setting me up with ideas. Many thanks Meggy |
