Default Let's paste the 'dirt' here for everyone to see and avoid!

This is a notice board we can all paste some common mistakes we teachers make in English. This could go a long way to maintain the quality of English we teachers speak. Since most of us live in ESL environments, we have listen to these incorrect usages so oftenly that they have slipped into our speech and have begun to sound correct. Don't forget they could also be forms of 'street English' we have brought over with us.
Let's use this thread as a board where people can pick out the 'dirt' and paste out for everyone else to see and avoid.
Let's be brief and straight to the point.
Cheers!
Denis.
