| | Re: Job Hunting Season In Japan it's March (jobs start in April) and there's a small rush in July (some jobs start in Auguast.) However, people quit and things happen so there's always this and that floating around. |

| | Re: Job Hunting Season It seems as though schools are looking for teachers year round, though. I've seen it first-hand. A school gets a new teacher and they find out that the teacher either doesn't teach well, or isn't very reliable. So in this case, they'll need to replace that weak teacher right away. I should point out that it's not always the teachers. Sometimes the teaching environment is no good, or the co-workers are not easy to get along with. In this case, the school still needs to replace that teacher and then finds themselves with a high turnover of teachers, and needing them all the time. |

| | Re: Job Hunting Season The english conversation schools are always hiring here in Japan. For the reasons above and because some teachers disappear overnight. Seriously! |
