I need your help
 
Hi every body,

I want to know the difference between teaching English as a

school subject and teaching it as a foreign language.:help:

By the way I'm from Kuwait :) .

Teaching English as a school subject involves the study of literature, novels, poetry, drama etc as well as creative writing. There is a part of the curriculum dedicated to grammar but it is not the main focus.
This is quite different to teaching English as a foreign language which involves teaching vocabulary, understanding, pronunciation, grammar and listening skills as well.
