how to teach song to 4 year old chikl?

hi everybody,
i've recently started teaching a group of kids aged 4 to 6. but i don't have any experience and my main problem is how to teach songs , when i want to start song they don't listen, they speak with their friends , or they color but no attention to the song. what can i do to attract their attention for song? thank you so much.
