How can I help my kid at home? Since I'm teaching little ones, I get this a lot. I generally encourage them to have fun with it, play games, but keep it light, and not to push it on them. I send home songs we sing and give our vocabulary but remind them it's NOT homework. Personally, I salute those who want to help at home, even if their English is not perfect. The best thing is to pass on some excitement about English.
What do you suggest to the eager parents? Do you ever discourage home involvement? Thanks for sharing. |
