Re: Help Teaching Thanksgiving I don't do thanksgiving because it's hardy known over here and I just haven't had the energy to cook up a cornu.. cornico... cornacoup.. a big horn basket of stuff inside idea.
Most crafts and such deal with making turkeys. There are some good vocab words associated with Thanksgiving if you want to do a word search or see how many words they can make from the word "Thanksgiving."
After talking about Thanksgiving, you could have them imagine Thanksgiving was going to happen in Korea. What would the Pilgrims eat? Would turkey still be the main dish? If it's younger children you could have them cut out and make all the food with construction paper. You could also label and practice the names of all the foods.
There's nothing real solid there but maybe it'll give you some ideas. Like I said I don't do Thanksgiving.
