Default Help, Ideas for International Understanding 3rd Year JHS

I'm teaching at a low level JHS in Japan. For the 3rd year students, I'm to teach them 'International Understanding.' I've never taught this before and I'm looking for a few ideas from anyone who's taught this before.

The goals as described by the JTE seems to be to just to fill a 50 minute class with 'anything.'

I've been using the British Council's ideas so far and they seem to be working fine for now.

Thanks for any help.
