Default FILMS for elementary lessons suggestions pls??

Hi,

I mainly teach 'true beginners' and elementary adult learners. Does anyone have any suggestions for movies/films I could use in lessons for this level of learner?

The films need to be visual and explain the film with little or less complex dialogue.

I have previously used:

CASTAWAY - Tom HAnks ( story easily explained and very visual when on Island)

Thank you!!
Nai

I teach English in Italy, and they love zainy comedy. For kids, I've used "Stuart Little". Adults love "Weekend at Bernie's". lol

Some easy movies to show would be some of the Pixar movies.

Pixar movies are very powerful and visually stunning. Take the movie Up for example. The beginning is very touching and you can understand the story even without the words.

Also, you could try Tom and Jerry or Backkom (a very popular 3d animated cartoon in Asia). There is very little dialogue most of the time (none in Backkom and little in Tom and Jerry). These can be great to add your own dialogue to as a class activity.

As for adults...it's definitely worth a shot for them. Adult students will appreciate the activities and movies more if you make it clear why they are doing it.
