demo class

Hi, I am a fairly new teacher and I have to give a demo class on Friday to a group of 35 seven year olds. This is the biggest group I have taught and also the youngest I have taught.
I have to teach them to use can and can't in a 30 minute lesson.
My initial idea is to use flashcards for various activities in case they don't know the activities and conduct a class survey, who can do this and who can't. I have also designed a worksheet for them to work in pairs asking each other questions also about what they can and can't do.
I just wondered if anyone has any more or any better ideas, I really want this to go well.
Many, many thanks in advance.

Re: demo class

Your idea of using the flashcards is good for presenting the new vocabulary. Keep the cards later for other games like flyswatting and I-spy. But above all do not forget miming guessing games. Let the students do the miming.
