Starting My New Job Today

Hello all,

It has been a while since I last visited this forum. I have moved to a new city with my family and left work. We now live in Bundang (Sunae) and it is so relaxing. Anyways, as some of you may know from the other post I was looking for professional work, a little scarce in Korea, but have eventually found work.

It is teaching adults full-time in Seoul. A nice job but I have to commute a little distance. I spent about an hour at the language institute and was amazed at how their offices were.

Wish me luck 'cos I start soon. Btw, if you want to know my employer PM me, as I want to be a little confidential as they maybe reading this post.

;)

Haha. From what I remember you used to live not too far from where I was in Suwon. I changed my school last month to Sunae and now you are here too.
Watch out for everyone else upping sticks and moving to Bundang....
Good luck with the new job.

Jen

Well done.

Just remember not to slap the students until the ink is dry on the contract! :-)

Be happy and work well.

Best of luck mate and the change will do you good. What kind of hours are you working and what level are the students at?

Well, I have finished my first week at work and it has been a really good time. They are so professional that they offer a full weeks worth of training for the job and observe classes.

It is strange that Jenniferp has moved to Sunae. What a coincidence!

Don't worry Clive, I won't be hitting the students. In fact teaching professionals and adults is so rewarding. I can finally get some practice with what I learnt from the CELTA Course.

Many thanks for the support and LiK, the hours are really good with about 3 hrs break in between and the students are really good and self motivated.

The offices are really clean and professional. It is such a nice place to work and everyone is friendly and professional. I have had such a difficult time at the last place. Glad that it is over.

;)
