Default Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, everybody!

Did you go to class in costume?
Did you do anything special?

I went in costume. I had my school's Halloween party last Sunday, but got all dressed up again for today. I dressed up as a Spider Lord.

I'll post some pics later in the week.

Aren't different time zones great?!
I'm reading about your Halloween party and ours is tonight.
I've got no idea what a Spider Lord is but I'm sure it went down well.

More importantly, how were the pumpkins?

Here's a bunch of pictures of me and my family. I think our costumes turned out pretty good. I'm a Spider Lord. My wife is a Spider Witch and my kids are our pets! Two black cats and a bat.

My wife and two girls actually came to the junior high for a little while and walked around with me. The students really like the girls, because they were really having a good time in their costumes and had gotten into character.

We had a lot of fun. If you want to check out the pics from the party, you can check here 2007 Mark's English School Halloween Party I haven't written up an explanation of what we did, yet. I might get to that this weekend ...

Pumpkins?

This one was pretty big, but ...

This one was 35kg! (about 80lbs.)

These below were actually carved into foam pumpkins. I bought them in the States when I went back in Aug. I actually carved them in September.

This last one was a design my 6 year old son drew. The pumpkin was rotting and we had to carve it early in October, so it didn't make it to Halloween.
