Default Squid gets my vote

I think the dried stuff is vile ,stinks too.
This was my first impression of squid, too. As well as beer. And coffee. And asparagus. Oh, how my taste buds have grown. I especially like the butter squid, now. And even enjoy the squid-y smell when I go to the movie theatre, it's so much more exciting than plain ol' popcorn.

Oh, I'd rather starve than eat anything that is alive.

Yes, maybe you're right. Maybe liking squid-smell is a sign...

But no, I haven't been to Ulleungdo. Actually, I can't remember where Ulleugdo is. Whick port city will take you there? Did you try the squid there, fresher smell perhaps, or do you stay away from it completely? It grows on you little by little, one leg at a time, you know

I've had squid in Mule Hui, Water Sashimi. This is similar to Mule Namyeong except instead of using noodles they use raw squid. This isn't bad and much better than the dried stuff. Ulleoungdo is near Pohang. This is an odd steal town seaside resort. Basically one of the few places in Korea where there is a sandy beach. Most of them are either stone or mud. If you go to the beach in Pohang you can lie on the beach and have a nice view of the Blast furnaces on the steel factory on the other side of the beach.
