Computer Help Hi All, I have a one year old Dell Laptop that died on me last week. All the computers store heres in rural Korea can't even read English and the only fix they can offer is to use Korean language operating systems. I'm thinking I should go up to the Yongsan electronics market for a fix. I think I need a new hard drive and then I will have to get another operating system (Windows XP) Has anyone in Korea ever had a computer problem and where did you get it fixed. Thanks |
Re: Computer Help The only problem I have had with my PC was with the graphics card so no probs with the lingo. Although, when I was going through the graphics problem I contacted MESH Computers in the UK and they sent me a new Restoration CD for my PC. Ofcourse, I had to provide some evidence on their forum (specific ID no. of PC etc) and they sent the CD to my parents. Perhaps you could contact Dell (if you ain't got the Restoration CD) and get a new one. See if they have a forum. If you have a Hard Drive problem and you have the Restoration CD then you won't get any problems with Korean language etc. |
