is there anyone who can help me :( I am going to teach "the fairground" on tuesday and it is my only second experience in teaching. I am a student teacher. do you have any idea about how to teach "merry go round, ferris wheel, roller coaster etc....". |
Re: is there anyone who can help me :( i'd suggest using flashcards of those things. or if you are a good drawer, elicit them on the whiteboard by drawing them and having the students guess what they are. |
Re: is there anyone who can help me :( thanks for your advice. drawing and having the students guess is a good idea :)) I prepared some flashcards and I will use shrek as the main charachter who wants to go to the fairground. I hope my prof will enjoy it. |
Re: is there anyone who can help me :( There's a park project here with some completed amusement parks and parks from kids around the world. http://www.mes-english.com/vkeypals/perfectpark.php You can also find some fair and carnival flashcards on the page. |
Re: is there anyone who can help me :( Do a powerpoint showing the rides and things to introduce them then (if the students are young enough or old enough - teenageers won't find this cool!) make them pretend they are on them! Works a treat and everyone laughs! Finally take them to a fairground! |
