| | Re: STUDENTS GET BORED give them freer activities to do for example, design a film poster for a film they've made up, make a tourist poster for their city, make a short tourist ad and film it. Anything a little different and creative. Give them a chance to incorporate everything they've learnt during the course. If they can do something which involves showing off to the rest of the class they are usually very happy to get involved. (It's quite relaxing for the teacher too!!)

| | Re: STUDENTS GET BORED Do you have access to a computer room? I only teach elementary school, but I find that my older students (11 and 12) are always really excited when we do computer related activities. As a bonus, the computer room has air conditioning, which really helps with those mid July lessons. |

| | Re: STUDENTS GET BORED I'd like to work with the computer room, also I'm thinking of making them work with the Internet. We are dealing with writing biographies, so I'm thinking about making them use the Internet to find some information about important people for the world, I mean... they all related to culture (e.g. gandhi, mother teresa, john kennedy, etc.) if you have any other idea to share, I'm all 'eyes' |
